The Almighty King Alfred! Fact or fiction?

Hello fellow zobopians. Do you know everything, now, past and present? Do you think you do? With all the events that have happened in Ferguson, Missouri (Mike Brown); New York City (Eric Garner); et al., wouldn’t you think the United States government have prepared for the kind of social protest that occur in the streets? The USA government/police agencies have had a lot of practice with handling the public masses. The militarization of the local police forces didn’t happen overnight. It’s been a consistent process since the Civil Rights Movement. During the Civil Rights Movement citizens had to solve problems without the tools of computers and cell phones. Today, we have the power of social media to put together a mass protest quicker. That means its harder for the law enforcement agencies to keep up with the masses. I don’t think the masterminds of “King Alfred” saw the power of personal technology coming. Yes, we the people have the power of modern day tech to fight the powers-that-be but what do we have to show for it. The powers-that-be are still in power! I guess that’s the whole PLAN.

Below are pictures of a PLAN for minorities called King Alfred. You may think it’s fiction but it could still happen. All that matters is the “idea”. [Click pics to enlarge.*]

Enemy Of Public Liberty

Hello zobopians.  Now that Valentine’s Day has passed it’s time for affairs of the mind. James Madison (1795) quote:

Of all the enemies of public liberty, war is perhaps the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other. War is the parent of armies. From these proceed debts and taxes. And armies, debt and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few…No nation could preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.”

At a time like this, scorching irony, not convincing argument, is needed. Oh had I the ability, and could reach the nation’s ear, I would, pour out a fiery stream of biting ridicule, blasting reproach, withering sarcasm, and stern rebuke.”

–Frederick Douglass (1852)
